Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Version 2.1 — replaces version 2.0 of 18 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Intersoul ("we", "us") for your use of the Intersoul app. Intersoul is the trading name of Erdem Ergin LLC, a Texas limited liability company. The terms are written to be read, not to be survived. By using Intersoul you accept them; if you do not, please do not use it. If something here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
What Intersoul is
Intersoul is a personal practice app. It offers two daily rites — the SoulForge, where you set an intention and put down a weight, and The Sky, where you gather one line from your day — and it keeps a record of them for you.
An account is optional. The app works fully without one; an account exists so your practice survives a lost phone. How we handle what you give us is set out in the privacy policy.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 to use Intersoul. If you are under the age of majority where you live — 18 in most countries, Turkey and every country of the European Union among them — you may use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
Your account
- If you make an account, use an email address that is yours, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into it.
- One account is for one person.
- A forgotten password is reset through your email. If you lose access to both the address and the password, we cannot give the account back to you, because we have no other way to know it is yours.
This is not medical or psychological care
Intersoul is not healthcare. It is not therapy, counselling, psychiatry or medicine, and it makes no health claims of any kind. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, physical or mental. Nothing in the app is medical advice, and nothing in it should be used in place of advice from a qualified professional.
It is not a crisis service. Nobody reads what you write, and nothing in the app will notice that you are in trouble or respond to it. If you are in crisis, or you are thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country now. In the United States you can call or text 988. In Turkey and across the European Union, call 112. Intersoul cannot help with this and will not try to.
Using it well
An account is yours to use for your own practice. Do not:
- use Intersoul to break the law, or to harm anyone;
- try to reach another person's account, or any part of the service you have not been given;
- attack, overload or interfere with the service or the systems it runs on, or create accounts or reach the service by automated means;
- use it if you are under 13.
We may suspend or close an account that is used to do any of these. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why first.
What you write stays yours
Your intentions, the weights you release and the lines you gather belong to you, and we claim no ownership of them. You give us only the permission we need to store them, carry them between your phone and our server, and show them back to you — nothing more — and that permission ends when you delete them or your account. We do not use them to train anything, and we do not show them to anyone unless the law compels us to.
The app itself, and the app stores
Intersoul — its code, its design, its words and its artwork — belongs to us and to those who license their work to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install it on devices you own or control and to use it for your own non-commercial practice. You may not copy, sell or modify the app, or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows you to.
Apple and Google distribute Intersoul, but they are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the app, its content, its support or any claim about it — we are. Their own terms still govern your use of their stores. If you downloaded Intersoul from Apple's App Store, your licence to use the app on your Apple devices is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and these terms cover everything else between you and us.
Money
There is nothing to buy in Intersoul today. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no paid features, no currency you can spend real money on. If that ever changes, the paid thing will be described plainly — what it costs, what it gives you, and what happens if you stop paying — before it appears, and never as a surprise inside a screen you already trusted.
The service is provided as it is
Intersoul is free and is offered as it is, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including that it is fit for a particular purpose. We do not promise that it will be available without interruption or free of faults. We may change how it works, add or remove features, or stop offering it. If we stop, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to take your data with you.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you for anything to do with Intersoul is limited to 100 US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that the law does not allow to be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct. If you use Intersoul as a consumer, nothing here takes away the rights your local consumer law gives you.
Ending it
You can stop using Intersoul whenever you like. You can delete your account inside the app at any time, under Profile → Delete my account, which removes everything and cannot be undone; the privacy policy also explains how to ask us to do it if you no longer have the app. Without an account, nothing of yours exists anywhere but your own phone.
If we close an account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will give you notice first and a way to take your data with you.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date and version number, and a material change will be signalled in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Intersoul after that, the new terms apply to you; if you do not accept them, stop using the app and delete your account.
Disputes, and the law that applies
If something goes wrong, write to us first. Most things can be put right in a conversation, and we will try to settle any complaint within 60 days of hearing from you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. A dispute that cannot be settled between us goes to the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
If you use Intersoul as a consumer and live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Turkey, choosing Texas law does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country instead. In Turkey this includes applying to a consumer arbitration committee (tüketici hakem heyeti) or a consumer court (tüketici mahkemesi) where the law allows it.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these terms.
The rest of the agreement
If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given it up. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over Intersoul, and we will tell you if we do; your rights under them stay the same. These terms, with Apple's licence where it applies, are the whole agreement between you and us about the app. They are written in English, and if we ever translate them, the English version applies wherever the law allows it to.
